HOW WE GOT OUR NAME

Our beautiful studio has been a landmark of Denton for decades.

In 2002, professional New York dancer/choreographer/teacher Karen MacIntyre   purchased the building, originally constructed in 1970 by Denton dance legend, Eleanor Green, who Karen studied with from 1960-1973.

The name Green Space is both a tribute to Miss Green and an artistic statement about the nature of the environment Karen wishes to provide for the community.
